Leroux Regular Instant Chicory Leroux Chicory root is exclusively grown in northern France: chicory fields are located around the towns of Calais, Dunkirk and Saint-Omer. Leroux Instant Chicory is composed of spray-dried chicory extract. This process produces a soluble product in powder form which can be totally and instantly dissolved in water or milk. It is 100% natural and naturally caffeine-free, and is also rich in fiber. Instant chicory can be used in a variety of contexts; in particular: for hot or cold drinks, prepared with milk or water, pure or mixed with coffee, and as an additive to both sweet and savory foods.
Leroux Instant Chicory delivers the ideal format for dry mixing with your own "ready to serve" creations, as the instant powder blends perfectly with your other ingredients (hot chocolate, milk, coffee...). Depending on how you dose it, chicory can offer your drinks a full-bodied flavor and a medley of balance and gourmet pleasure. With its delicate caramel flavor, it offers a hint of bitterness to your preparations, together with rich brown notes (caramel, hazelnut, crème brulée) to cakes, custard tarts, cream desserts, and yogurts.
Directions: Put three teaspoons into a cup. Add hot or cold water or milk (about 240ml/8 fl oz) and stir.
